Summary: Nell gives Lana the party she wanted for her sixteenth birthday. She gets a visitor.

wow, i totally think, this characterization of Martha is wayyyyyyy refreshingly different //“She does it for praise. Martha Kent likes feeling as though she’s a part of the community, and people give her more than adequate attention for her charities. Especially since her effort could be better put to use keeping the farm afloat. Good works done out of vanity are as empty as any other action.”//

And thank you! I really just don't read het, though I pair straight characters together who make sense in larger fics. This little bunny just came up on me and bit me, so... I'm very glad it is liked. :D

the thing is, on the surface, they are the perfect , all american dream family in S1. like just the rockwellian thing that lex told clark, the perfect cozy home, and the all shiny parents, and the good son... i mean, it was like the old show "my little farm" (or whatever that thing was called that was from the seventies?!?) , i mean, what farm really looks like the Kent farm nowadays in US?!?!

the more you looked, the creepier they were :D

martha does occasionally look like a fish! this is very intriguing. i like it that lex is genuinely relaxed with nell.

It's nice to find people who appreciate his obsessive attention. Of course, WE adore it, but most of the characters just blow him off. :) Glad you liked!
