Sacrilicious
Lex had woken up feeling swollen and sore, but that was hardly a surprise. Clark beamed over him and told Lex he needed to show him something. So Lex went with him, shuffling, allowing Clark's strong hands to support his heavy body. By the time they'd reached the nursery, Lex was feeling a little more awake. He looked around at the lushly decorated room, the large crib and the old toys. He sighed softly, yet again anxious about his impending fatherhood. Then Clark ducked under the crib and brought out his surprise. Two stuffed rabbits, one white, one red. Grinning like an idiot, Clark set the red one on top of Lex's large, gravid belly. It sat there, perching on top of his stomach furry and arrogant.
"One for each of the twins," he said, draping his powerful arm around Lex's shoulders. Lex had to hold his stomach still. The tension melted out of him; he couldn't stop laughing.
