First OTP

So, I'm curious. What was your first fandom OTP?

Mine was Hiei/Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho. I bonded with people over this Anime. One roommate of mine I kinda met through the Digimon boards when I offered to send her free Anime (YYH) so I could have more people to talk about it with!

I'm not sure, given how long it's been, but I think my first fandom OTP was Edge/Rydia from Final Fantasy IV. Despite the hilariously shitty translation job, my preteen self was quite certain that they were totally going to see the light and get married a few months after the game ended.

I still am certain, actually. :D

I think my first fandom OTP was Draco/Hermione in HP, but that didn't last long. It went quickly to Ron/Hermione. Actually, before that was probably something from a teeny-bopper TV show, but you never know. My brain has tried to erase these facts. :P My first slash OTP was Harry/Draco. Good times.

I wasn't really into the fandom of HP much before I started writing and roleplaying in it, so I'm missed most of the ship wars. I was always leaning towards Ginny/Neville and Ron/Draco and of course as soon as book three happened Remus/Severus. NONE of which will happen, but I like to see the characters happy and that's why AU exists. As far as I'm concerned though, Harry/Draco is canon as far as mutual interest goes as of the last book.

Obviously it was the Clex for me. From there, just a mishmash of DC pairings- it's not my fault the Batboys can be justifiably paired up with just about everyone they come into contact with.

*grin* My first love was totally Serena/Darien from SailorMoon. Hell, it is what got me into both fanfiction AND anime. and I still.. sorta.. love them. Even though finding the good stuff in that fandom is a feat in and of itselt. it was HUGE.

Serena/Darien was cute, but Darien was such a freaken bastard. I hated him by then end of the first season, then season two and three OMG. If he could be a decent person sometimes, they would be awesome (I guess that's what fandom and the manga is for). I have to think that somehow he grew up before their Neo Tokyo days. Then again, I was always saying to my friends that Chibi Usa is the bastard child of Serena and Seiya. >:)

I bet that fandom was freaken hueg.
