SHE LIVES

Yeah. So I got very little done in the way of paper or Japanese studying. I was freaked out about my car and exhausted from all the unplanned cardo (hoofing it). So I did some grading and wrote a few more pages. These pages were okay, for a second draft, and basically, I was starting from scratch. Knowing that I had to get up early for my Japanese exam and also get my car towed before someone else did, I went over to the boypartment to "work." And I DID. I tried. I was so so tired and looked through letters and sources, and somewhere along the line, I wrote some things down. When I got up, I had to walk to school, and I scribbled out a mass amount of notes. Took the test. Did okay.

Then, Rabbit took me to the lot where my dead car was and we talked about 1940's porn while waiting for the tow guy. I got back to my house and was like FAH. I emailed my professor, intending to just ask to email the paper to her, and ended up asking for an incomplete. I wrote threeish pages and took a nap while waiting for a response.

Car: Towed.
Paper #2: 7 1/2 pages, begged for an incomplete from the professor, granted.

I have to walk to school tomorrow, fill out the incomplete paperwork and fetch books for the last paper. I just realized, too, that I have four and a half days to ONLY work on this last paper (YAY), and I rejoiced and had a beer, because those Red Bulls and caffiene pills make me shake something awful. I may be drinking a few RB's over the next few days, but I'm going to lay off them for the rest of the day at least.

Also? Just realized I haven't had any substantial food since my awesome lunch yesterday besides two small oranges. Remedying that.

I'd ride myself for taking another incomplete, but at spring break I was thinking this might be how it ended up since I had three to write (because I'm a dumbass and wrote my new due date the Monday after finals nurr). I'm sorta, glad too, because I really might be able to turn this paper into an article, or at least have it be the beginning of something. My prof was like, "yeah, damn. Give yourself some time to draft on this one okay? You make me dizzy." I like her a lot, but I don't think I've impressed her with my writing skills. It's hard to, when you are writing about complex ideas very quickly. I hope to have that one pumped out before we move. But that means I need to get a job (soon) and keep working on this even when I'm on vacation (although, I'm... gonna take a couple of days). I think I need to assign someone to be the monkey on my back to make sure I keep working on it.

Any takers?
