Why are my people so stupid
I was in the nail salon and this lady was in there getting her toes and fingers done. She was making conversation with the owners and stuff. Then she asked them bout Chinese food and if they had any so I was thinking to myself she thinks they are Chinese. I ignored it but then later on she was asking the spanish lady that works there how she knew the owners. The owners are husband and wife and the husband was doing my nails and the wife was doing hers. I jokingly said they are sisters and she said "I know they are not sisters they are not even the same nationality she is Chinese and she is Mexican" she wasn't rude when she said it but I was like oh no she didn't. The wife was like I am not chinese and she was like oh? Then the wife said and she is not Mexican she is from Ecuador. I was thinking why do some people assume that anyone who is Asian is Chinese. I know they are Vietnamese but apparently I am in a minority.
