Creativity rip-off
So I found this really cute manga series recently called F.O.X. It's actually a Chinese manhwa, but it's just really cute. Mostly, I found I love it so much because it takes place with kitsune, or fox demons. And I realized that the fox demon is my (second) favorite mythical creature (to the dragon). And it got me to thinking that I should write a book that totally rips off Twilight.
At first, I wanted to switch the gender roles, have a human guy fall in love with a female fox demon. Then I realized that most teenagers love the damsel in distress angle (*pukes*) so that made me think that I could rip off Twilight even more by having a girl fall in love with a male fox demon. Except my ending would be realistic in a bittersweet way that they could be together, but the girl would still die eventually. That, and male kitsune are the most handsome. Of course, a female kitsune could be equally alluring. Hmm...
Either way, this sure gives me an idea for at least a short story
