El Dia de la Independencia!
Just throwing up a quick journal to wish everyone a good Independence Day! Hope you guys aren't stuck at work, and if you are, I hope there's good food waiting for you when you get home!
We're having parfait, steaks, burgers, the works. Mmmm the annual cow sacrifice.
Random story time! So I was helping my mother clean out the basement and we stumbled upon her old collection of vinyl records (the giant black discs you play on a record player for anyone who might not know). Aah she had ALL the classics! The Eagles Greatest Hits, Sonny and Cher's Greatest Hits, and....the awe-inspiring Beatle: The White Album!
Alas, they were all COVERED completely in paper eating worms!O_o These little maggot looking things that were white and wriggly. Bleh!
So...in the trash went all of those jewels and half of her vinyl collection. It was a sorry sight to see, especially with as much of a Beatles freak as my mom is.
Still, the cow sacrifice should make it all better. Have a great one, ya'll!
