Ah, this was so good! I loved this chapter and the morphine scene so very much. And the ending with House's desperation is just... ugh! Brilliant. I can't wait to see where this is going and what you do with it. Lovin' it muchly now. I love you.

"Why, Dr. Cuddy…I didn’t know you graduated from the Kevorkian School of Medicine" And this line still kills me. (And side note: better grasp on it with italics, Peters. Ha.)

Madam gets better with each chapter. I am very much sucked into the story, alas my ovaries are still very much intact. I wonder if canon!Cuddy had this much turmoil after the leg-hacking.

Thank you so much, I'm really glad you're enjoying this. I had...reservations. But. Yeah. Thank you. And I do think canon!Cuddy would have had turmoil (maybe not to this degree- I like to torture my characters sometimes) because well, she's Cuddy. Perverse Sense of Guilt and All. Which is why I love her.

RESERVATIONS? PFFFFT.

This is what's keeping me from going nuts (as I have decided not to watch any streaming episodes of television until the strike is over because the writers won't get the money and I don't have time to watch it when it's on first run). So do you think canon!Cuddy gave him the job out of guilt? I've always thought that she gave him the job to keep an eye on him and House abused her guilt to work the system.

Ugh. Writer's strike. UGH. Let us not speak of it.

And I haven't quite decided yet why (I think) Cuddy is "going to give him the job." I think you're exactly right, about an element of it being to keep an eye on him, and him DEFINITELY abusing her guilt, but I almost think there had to be more. I just haven't figured out what yet. Which, is okay, 'cause that is a ways off in this, lol.

I see you've written another great chapter. I like that Cuddy went there and laid it out there for House, to see if he truly wanted to die. That was awesome. Also, I loved how Cuddy is getting a hold on his Vicodan, he won't be an addict under Cuddy's watch! I like this Cuddy...

Aww, thank you! I'm really glad you like my Cuddy...I was afraid I was making her too severe, or something. Anyway, yeah...that's how you'd have to communicate with House, I'd think, in such a direct and extreme way because...he's House. :] Anyway, thanks again, for reading and leaving me a note! I'm thrilled you enjoyed it.
