Turkey belongs in the EU
Debates in class are fun. Today I argued the pro side of allowing Turkey into the EU. It is actually not as hard to do as one might think, as the arguments are all that Turkey has not done enough to reform, but in actuality it is working very hard to reform. I also think our side won, as talking to others in the class, they had the feeling that my side won. I will, however, have to wait until wednesday to find out who won and what our grades are. Hopefully he will have our grades.
On an update from my previous post, I am still not registered. Mainly because when I went in to give the office my letters from my profs, they said "Oh, we don't need that, all we need is this signiture from your department head." Yeah, thanks for telling me that beforehand. So tomorrow I get to go talk to my department head.
