and i mean a whole lot.
since my brain seems to need mass quantities of fiber to get rid of the blockage that's holding me up, creatively speaking, Daz thought she'd try to help me shake something loose. this turned into an epic plotting session that we never even finished. here's hoping we can do that today.
while this didn't unplug my brain enough to allow for some writing to happen, what it did give me was an actual...*gasp* dare i say it? i came up with an outline for the goddesses fic that i mentioned some time ago. together, Daz and i have been hashing out a number of things. i think we've come up with a unique manner of telling the story. this includes narration and layout.
part of me is anxious to spill everything now and let you know what we've come up with while the other part of me is trying to keep everything close to the chest so that you'll be surprised and all that shit. six of one, half a dozen of the other.
*ponders*
perhaps i'll keep most everything to myself for now.
what i can tell you is that, planned the way we have it now, this will not be a long, drawn out epic that i've become known for writing. it will be, as far as i'm concerned, relatively short. but it should tell the story well enough that there shouldn't be too many questions. i could make it epic but i have too many of those going on at the moment and i really don't need the hassle of another one. when you read the fic, i think you'll understand better how i can manage to tell a story in a short amount of time. but we've got ideas and that will make it easier to accomplish.
as you all know, this is supposed to be an alternative time line to
ginevra 's Mutant Sue Virus. and that's how Daz and i have planned it. however, the way things have been plotted out, it can be a stand alone original fic. i haven't decided just yet how i plan on categorizing it. there will be some cameos and there will be a guide to names and pronunciations. i'll make sure that goes up when i post the first chapter or so.
just thought i'd update you on what was going on. while i didn't get much writing done, i am pleased that we got some serious plotting done. now all i need to do is finish it up when Daz gets here.
hope you're up to the task, hon!
