figured i needed to update with something that didn't sound whiny or bitchy. so i went over to the good old friend's page and totally gacked this from dazzledfirestar because i'm like that

1. well, there is that other site where we met and the subsequent journey to greener pastures. but you've always been a voice of reason, always been polite and well mannered. you are what i would term a true gentleman. and you never fail to put a smile on my face
( ... )
1. as with Samu, there is that other site. but that was just how we met, not why i friended you. that was because we had lots in common and just seemed to hit it off right away.
2. the creation of the Muse Cruise and Hub Castle. none of that insanity would exist if you hadn't come up with it. and i've really enjoyed playing in that world.
3. you're always there with a shoulder if i need it. not that i think i've ever really used it. but you're still there. one of your best qualities.
4. that day at Scarbie. its kind of cool to actually have a picture of me with tankards on my boobs. and i'm sure everyone else who took a shot of that that day thinks the same. ;p
5. i'm no good at these question things. let me see... when did you know that Samu was the one for you? honestly. i don't think i'll ever feel that. so i'm living vicariously through you.
1. gee. here comes that answer again. that other site is responsible for our meeting. but you, like the others, made me feel welcome and everything. and look where we are now
( ... )
2. I know. LOL Its a running gag now, and I can't stop with the running gags! LOL
3. Its very rare that I ever see an idea and think "No way. There's absolutely NO WAY to do that." *shrug* And I love the stuff you come up with! *hugs*
5. Gee, couldn't take it easy on me, huh? Hmm...
Well aside from the obvious changes like not working outside the house and all that, my patience level shot straight up. I don't think there is another person on the planet that gets the kind of patience from me that the munchkin gets. Its amazing. lol Still don't have much in the way of patience for other people's kids or other people in general, but my baby can tear the house down and I'll take it in stride. lol
Would I give it all up? No. Not a chance. I might go back and put it off for a year or two ;) But I wouldn't give him up for the world.
6. I kind of love that one too, honestly. Its kinda hot. LOL
1. are we tired of the other site yet? no? well, that's where this started. i friended you, though, because i enjoyed getting to chat with you and stuff. and, really, you and Daz kind of feel like a matched set, so....
2. um... the whole earth mother vibe. its really strong on you, which i think is totally cool. i think this is why you end up being the rational one in all of the MSVs floating around. one of us has to, right?
3. you trust me to do whatever with your Sues. considering what i've done to some characters, that is rather a bitching thing. cos i've done some bad things to some of my characters over the years. its not pretty what i'm capable of when the mood strikes.
4.Caught Between Shadow and Light. that was the first challenge i ever accepted and wrote. i didn't want to ask you for something and then not pay you for it. so maybe i got a little out of control with the fic, but you gave me such an awesome prompt and the Muses were being generous. i have yet to top that fic's length
( ... )
2. It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it. lol
3. You've earned that trust. I have complete faith in you. Even after Rhia's dream. ;)
5. Trae and I were both bright children and we were both bored to tears in school (Trae more so, I'm sure) so that was a part of it, but mostly it was a natural extension of how I parent. I'm very hands on and more than a little bit over-protective (there, I admited it! lol) So homeschooling seemed the obvious way to go. I also feel very strongly that kids need time to be kids. But schools nowadays just seem to want to bog them down with homework from an early age leaving little time for family and play. It's horrible. Besides, neither Trae nor I wanted the government raising our kids. That's our job.

1. because you liked my fic. no, seriously. that was part of it. you were so earnest to find out where i was posting and that brought you to EFFN. then you asked me questions about images for the forums and we started talking on Yahoo. and that's all she wrote.
2. your apprehension when you asked me to critique your Snarry fic, then your shock when i said it was good stuff.
3. you are willing to read stuff i write, even when it isn't slash. that says alot. really, it means alot.
4. being so apologetic for being computer illiterate. in the beginning, when we first started talking, i had to help you figure out how to load up icons and find icons and all that stuff.
5. if you could change one thing about your life, what would it be? and why?
6. since you've only got the one... yeah. there you go.
4. i'm still computer illiterate, but i've managed to put more avatars on lj - you'll recognize two from that other site ...
5. one thing? ONLY ONE?? gee, that's really difficult . . . i guess i'd have to say that i'd like to stop standing in my own way and not be afraid of success. if i could fix that, a whole lot of other things would fall into place.
