ok, i haven't taken pics of the house decorations yet. i probably won't. really, who wants to see my messy old house and my crappy decorations? but mom and i did go look at that guy's house again this year and, since i now know how to turn the flash off (doh!), i've got good shots of his house and his lights without annoying things like flashes and

he takes donations of money and toys to go to needy families, i think. if i remember what he was saying last year, he doesn't take any money for himself to offset the costs of running these. and its just so amazing to see the kids' faces when they see his decorations.

i still want to see this set against snow.

it is absolutely my favorite place to go looking at lights.
