because i totally can't help myself...
i've been a wee bit obsessed this past week, as anyone who has chanced to talk to me has seen. i will not apologize for this. but i will beat a few people for contributing to my obsession. (yeah. totally looking at you, Cat).
as we all know, the trailer for The Avengers came out this week and i've spent a good portion of the last five days feeding my habit by watching it. repeatedly. i made screen caps. got new wallpapers. yes. you know how i am.
Marvel has been working to tie all of the films together to The Avengers with a couple of shorts that are sadly, only available on the Blu-Ray releases of both Thor and Captain America (in a couple of weeks). but where such things as companies and shit are disappointing, the Interwebs hardly ever are. with many thanks to Daz (smoochies, hon), i was finally able to see both of these shorts.
i wanted to embed them in this post, but the fucking things didn't want to work. so i'm afraid i'm going to have to simply provide links. but at least they'll be here.
up first is "The Consultant" which comes to us as one of the extras on the Thorrelease.

coming after that is "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to Thor's Hammer" which includes some awesome music and it just proves without a doubt what some of us already know. Agent Coulson is a serious badass
