i want to wish all of you on my f-list a wonderful and lovely Mother's Day. because you don't have to get pregnant and give birth to be a mom. a mom comes in many different forms. moms are sisters and aunts, best friends and cousins. sometimes moms are brothers and fathers and uncles. moms don't have to be related by blood. a mom is someone who loves unconditionally, through thick and thin. through good and bad. a mom is just there for you. being a mom is a tireless, thankless job. moms don't get paid in cash. they get paid in love. and somehow, in the end, that love makes it all worth while.
and not all moms are moms to human children.
it takes a special person to be a mom. and those of you on my f-list are all special. so Happy Mother's Day to all of you.
