My live journal entries are so depressing.
Anyways, it's the 3rd of November. School has been on for two months and I'm ready to crack. The teachers say that we're halfway through the hardest part, but it's this part that is the toughest yet. Between now and Christmas vacation (and you can bet that I'm counting down the days) I currently have 12 tests/examinations. That's not counting evaluations for pre-clinical. Twelve so far and there is no doubt that more will be scheduled. At least two per week. Right now I'm switching between studying for the Sealants test on Thursday, the Nutrition test on Tuesday and reading up on Perception for Pyschology. I also have a test on Monday for Infection Control and the theory Dental Dam test on the 12th, neither of which I've looked at yet. Everything is building up and I'm beginning to feel very overwhelmed.
Another thing thrown at me is that my group is apparently heading back to the Dental College on the 20th. We were just there last Friday. Not even a month goes by and because of some wacky scheduling, we're back there already and it hasn't even been a month! To say I'm displeased is an understatement. I didn't have an exactly good experience on Friday involving a four year old hudderite girl who didn't speak English and wouldn't cooperate, screaming her head off while the student tried to put in composite, finally going the easier route and using a glass ionomer. But, blood and hell, that was a horrible three hours. Do not want to got through that again. The coordinator, Armenia, won't even be there this time. Very sucky.
Besides schoolings I don't know what else to report. I haven't had the time or inspiration to write at all lately because of school. Nor have I had much time to play games. With all these tests and evaluations I haven't really been able to feel like I can take it easy as I always have something school related at the back of my mind. Believe me when I say that I cannot wait for winter break.
I suppose I can add that I went to Winnipeg's Comic Convention this weekend. It was fun and I bought a few things, though not exactly comic related (unless Manga counts, which it does, I suppose), including the first issue of Hellsing, a button of Alucard, and a button of Kyle from South Park.
Still on a search for a doctor. It's coming to the point where I feel I'll just end up going to the walk-in clinic by DQ if nothing comes up soon.
