I'm still working at Citi. It's still very stressful and unstable, but I've made really good friends there, I'm still saving money, and I'm gaining experience to put on my resume for the future. So there's that.
This weekend was actually pretty busy.
Friday Night: THE KILLERS!
I saw them when they first came out in 2004. It was at the Masquerade in Ybor with only a few hundred people in the room. We were maybe 30 feet from them. It was very different this time... but also kind of the same. Sometimes when you go to shows the band doesn't sound anything like the CD and it's pretty disappointing. But Brandon Flowers always sounds just like the CD. He's awesome.
This time I went with Jen and Seth and Casey, one of my friends from work. Some sample pictures and video of the show:
The sweet K synthesizer
Mr. Flowers playing the K
I really liked the panels they had behind them. The lighting person for this show was awesome.
They showed the music video while they played Bones
I don't remember which song they were playing for this, but I liked the background

Are we human?
Or are we dancers?

Confetti exploded onto the crowd during climax of the last song of the first set, All The Things I've Done
Explosion of sparks during the last song of the encore, When You Were Young.

www.youtube.com/user/4LadyBayside#play/all/uploads-all/1/TFeUzvg7I-s Saturday I had lunch with Eugenia. She's having a Halloween party. I'm pumped. I need to decide on a costume.
After lunch I headed over to Annie's apartment. Jimmy's in town with his wife, so Jimmy, his wife, me, Annie, Andrew and Robert hung out for a while. One of Annie's adorable dog's, Lily, fell asleep on me. She fell asleep on me the last time I saw her like 4 years ago. She must love me. I might have to steal her :)
I had to leave Annie's early because I had an appointment for an eye exam. I'm definitely near sighted and need glasses. I can either buy one pair at one store or 2 pairs at another store for the same price. Which ones do you like better? Please comment with your advice:
These picture are pair #1 from one store
These are pictures from store # 2. This is pair #1
(unintentionally sassy)
Glasses # 2
My Saturday ended by going out to Splitsville for my friend, Laura's, birthday. Splitsville is kind of interesting in that it's a bowling alley / bar / club. I don't really do the club thing, but drunk bowling was kind of fun.
I should bowl drunk more often. I don't think I've ever bowled this well..

Laura and me
Laura and her fiance, James.
This couple gives me hope. You can tell they belong together. They've been together for 7 years and still laugh at each other's jokes and still look at each other like they're totally in love. I know 7 years isn't a long time in the grand scheme of things, but it's the longest lasting couple out of anyone I know that's my age. It's nice to see that and I want it.
I want to see Zombieland and Paranormal Activity. YAY October.
Alright. It's Sunday night. Time for bed. Time for a week of work. Oy.
