I got up this morning and looked for my ballot, because I had to mail it in today, but my sweet husband took it to work with him and mailed it for me. He is ALWAYS been reliable about reminding me to vote. I appreciate that about him. He came home early and made it a point to share the same space with me even though I had a migraine and told him to stay away from me while I ate my baked potato soup (he doesn't like the way it smells, is all. I had his best interests in heart, really.). He reminded me of some other things I appreciate about him and graciously agreed to pizza delivery after I had spent a big chunk of the afternoon lying around trying to feel better.

Ethan was on a field trip for choir to a mass band/choir concert/function thing about 1.5 hours away. After I picked him up at the school at 9:30ish  he sat with me for awhile. He doesn't have zero hour choir tomorrow, so it's probably not the end of the world that he stayed up until 10. We took the garbage cans out to the curb together so he doesn't have to remember it in the morning. Also I told Travis I was going to smuggle our impressive pizza box collection out to the trash under the cover of darkness (we've haven't REALLY had pizza that much lately. I mean, just because when I call and order my pizza the guy who answers the phone half the time says "So, do you want your usual drinks with that, Julie?" doesn't mean I have a pizza problem. . .I can stop ordering any time I want.)

Holy crap, look at the time. nearly tomorrow. Off to bed!!! That's what I get for watching the local news to see how the elections/ballot measures were doing. Oh well, Chloe came out to snuggle with me for a minute or two at the tail end of the news. I think she coughed herself awake (it's sinus season at our house). So that made the late bedtime worth it. Good night!
