RUTH Chapters 5 - 7...
Sadly, things haven't gone precisely to plan lately and it's no ones fault really, just circumstantial stuff....
My mother-in-law moved in with us back in May, and my world is still spinning from that situation. It doesn't help that her drama directly effects my degree of drama (and frequency of sex). So after helping her transition from one job to another, getting her caught up on her two months of backlogged bills, moving all her crap, selling even more of her crap at a garage sale and teaching proper boundaries for living with us, I was drained and I won't go into dealing with my significant other's ordeals with work and mother.
Unfortunately, my writing took the hardest hit. As some of you may remember, my original goal was bi-weekly updates. (I was totally excited about that...) Well obviously that goal is no more. However, I am currently working on Chapter 8, but my poor beta has entered her own summertime whirlwind. So please, send happy, positive thoughts her way. Let her know she's loved and admired and desperately wanted. After all, Captain Java is the best beta ever!
The good news? (There always has to be good news.) I'm unemployed! Well, I guess that depends on how you look at it. I see it as a time to shake off this 'computer ass' (aka. secretary spread) and write write write...
