Summertime fun
So - Summer...
I'm still here in good ole' Mt. Pleasant working at Pixie during the day and the Alumni house at night. It's not bad. I get to talk to old people who have never left mt. pleasant at pixie and old people who don't want to come near mt. pleasant at the alumni house. It's a good balance.
My Great Grandma passed away last week. I went home for her funeral over Memorial Day weekend. She was the last to pass away from her high school class. She was 91 years old and didn't suffer much. She knew it was the end, got to say goodbye to her 4 daughters and fell asleep.
It was really great seeing my family, although not so good of a reason. Tim came to the funeral and met a lot of my family that I don't see very often. He made a good first impression, as always. Later that night my mom, my dad, his cousins, my aunt, uncle, and cousins, Tim, and I went out drinking for the rest of the night. Dad ended up convincing Tim to stay an extra night - it was funny.
That's about all of the excitement so far this summer. Not much happening, but it's been relaxing.
