It's about time
Wow - it's been a while. Well ~ break has been pretty good. I haven't worked as much as I would have hoped, but I haven't been working there that long. I'm ready for things to start up again though. I'm not the type of person who likes just sitting around all the time. I like to be busy. I will be when school starts up again. I'm ready for it though. My goal is to leave last semester behind me and have a fresh start to this one. I'm ready for it and I'm willing to take on all that it has to offer.
I was sick for Christmas and am still getting over it. I had strep throat. Never had it before in my life, but I guess there's a first for everything. It did take its tole though. It was a rough couple weeks. I finished taking my meds today, but still don't feel 100% ~ I don't think that's good, but we'll see where it takes us.
Christmas was good though. Really good. It was my first trip home since Thanksgiving and I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to work. I got to spend some quality time with the family and got to rest up and get a little bit better at home.
Tomorrow Tim and I are taking off for the night and going to Garland Resort up north. It should be fun. I'm pretty excited about it. Then we get to wake up early so I can come back and work on Tuesday and Wednesday and then I'm going home for my mom's birthday for the weekend. Going home is much more exctiting when you don't do it as much.
New Year's was good. I went with Tim to the Phi Tau's ~ as always ~ good times. It was good to see some guys that I haven't seen in a while.
