I've lost 20lbs this summer too! Way to go Che! Hitting the gym 3-5 times a week and doing a good 45 mins or so of cardio is a great way to burn fat. Also if you do some weight lifting before the cardio it will help raise your metabolism so you burn even more when doing cardio. Don't lift heavy amounts.. smaller amounts with high reps will tone. Don't starve yourself either or you'll quit exercising faster than you can say the word quit. You'll never have enough energy to do it. Think of food like gas in a car. You only should put in what you need but if gym is equal to a long drive remember to give yourself plenty of what you need. No need to overdo it though or think you can eat whatever just because you're working out. Eat less red meat or very little if possible, add salads, find low carb/low sugar desserts (Jello, rice krispie squares, yogurts, rice cakes, fruit smoothies) and add those as well. Just some tips girls. It really helped me a lot! -35 total since Christmas, and -20 since May alone. And lastly, dieting won't help you lose weight... making a lifestyle change will. If you can convince yourself that you want it bad enough you can do this for life and it will be more rewarding when you get to your goal weight because you won't have to be so careful about everything. It's only a game of maintaining at that point. :) Good luck!
