What sort of bra would you recommend to wear with a bodice that's shaped like this?

A bra? I wouldn't. If you're worried about nipples, just wear some of those silly little nipple stickers Breast Petal thingiemabobs.

Somehow, however, I suspect that this would be viewed in period as a very revealing and provocative bodice, precisely because it would show nippleage and allow for a lot of bounce.

I'm more worried about sag. I don't have a lot of natural support without a bra.

I'm actually envying it so much that I would like to attempt a replication - does it come from a shop or is it a handmade creation? Are there more pictures anywhere?

I got it from Damsel in this Dress on eBay. She's on Etsy, as well. It's her original pattern.
