1. A pick-me-up film
Going to have to go with Knocked Up. It's not a classy choice. It's not one I'm particularly proud of. But I can put this movie on, and laugh my ass off every time, and it's all good because that's just what you need sometimes.
2. The soundtrack of your life for this week
Mumford and Sons. Sigh No More. J'adore, mi amore.
3. Your pet peeve
People who never have anything positive to say.
4. Is writing therapeutic to you?
Yes and no? I mean, I try not to work out my issues through writing, although I think a trained psychologist could look sideways at my work for three minutes and figure most of them out... but generally speaking, I don't think depression has helped my writing, and I don't think writing helps my depression.
5. Rose Tyler
Is awesome. Is fierce. Represents so much of how I felt at nineteen (how I still sometimes feel). Remains my favorite companion. I've written some of my favorite stories about her. What more can I say? Oh, books. Novels. So I'll just leave it at that.
