I Am So Tired; Yet I Break My Exhaustion To Bring You This Update

Well, hello.

Okay, so previously, I had been living in this town called Manhattan, which is where the Kansas State University is. I am a miserable student. I love to learn but the (relatively) unstructured environment of higher-level education does not work well for me. Plus, in March/April my doctor nearly hospitalized me for depression. So -- I am not returning to school next semester.

Okay. So I was going to stay in Manhattan, live with my brother for the next year before he got married (while his fiancee moved to Manhattan as well, so you know how much I was going to get to see him).

Well -- one day an old friend came to visit. She said: "Come live with me in Lawrence. I need a roommate and it doesn't seem like there's anything holding you here."

And she was right.

So I picked up, I moved to Lawrence -- staying with another set of old friends (my best friend from high school and her wife. I wrote about their wedding about a year and a half ago). I got a new job (which pays $1.10 more an hour to do exactly what I was doing before). At this job, they're going to pay for me to get my CDA (Child Development Accreditation -- one of the key pieces of paper which insures you get paid slightly better than slave labor).

I'm also now just 30 minutes away from my folks. It's still far enough away we can not see each other if we want to, but I have generally been happier with easier access to my mom, the dogs, and the place I grew up.

Writing: I am working on a super-cool project which I will officially announce later this month (some of you have figured it out already).

OH. And I forgot: My computer is in the shop. I have a virus -- maybe? Or possibly a hardware problem? We'll see. *sigh* Just one more thing I can't afford, you know how it goes.

All right folks! See you later.
