I made it into the LJ comm catchmysnitch! My fic Shades of Gold and Green was accepted by a majority of its members. Yay me!

OK, thought you might find this interesting, or not, but for some reason, as I read your blog, I heard it in DT's scottish voice. Weird, huh? maybe because i just spent the last 3 hours catching up on Craig Ferguson and then saw your picture up top? IDK.

Re: the writing - if it's not happening at the moment, and you're not enjoying it, don't force it. Also, don't beat yourself up for writing something that isn't OMG-the-most-awesome-thing-EVAR. Everyone has their share of less-than-eloquent moments. I know you hold yourself up to a very high standard, but don't use that standard to flog yourself.

Is there any chance you could take some time this weekend and just get out, away from the computer, and do something that has no relation at all to writing or childcare or classes or any of it? That might help with the rejuvenation. See something new. Do something you haven't done, or haven't done in a long time. Stretch a different part of your brain. *hugs*
