Statements made by friends and friends of friends on FB, re: Bin Laden. Lots of hate out there. Understandable, from a human perspective and to a degree. But most of these folks claim Christ, so it's disappointing, too.
Case in point: I occasionally post a Bible verse, and when I do several people 'like' it or even comment about it. So, seeing all the bitterness, as well as slights and slurs against Obama (including death wishes), I posted this:
Matt 5:13-14
Ye have heard that it hath been said Thou shalt love thy neighbor and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you and pray for them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.

Not one 'like'. Not one comment. Hard words to live by, yes? But kind of sad no one will address them at all. They all want to quote the 'enemies of god, retribution' quotes instead. How the Lord must surely shake His head at us.
