Just some experiences from today, kickoff of the regular season.
You know you live in a football city when you go into a store and every employee is wearing Steelers shirts. (Wasn't there today but the same goes for doctor's offices, experienced that last season for prenatal appointments. Too funny when the doctor walks in wearing one. ~laughs~)
You know you live in a football city when the school sends home a flyer to remind you to dress your child for Black and Gold day to support the Steelers.
You know you live in a football city when every kid in your child's class (including the teachers) are wearing a Steelers shirt of some form, whether it is a jersey or regular t-shirt.
You know you live in a football city when ninety percent of the people in town, walking on the street or in the store, etc is wearing Steelers shirts.
You know you live in a football city when you dress the kids in Steelers shirts/clothes for bed since they will be playing when they are sleeping. Everyone has to wear Black and Gold during the whole game. It is a MUST! Ok so that is the rule of our house. ~giggles~
Tom was kind enough to pay our TV bill so we could watch the game. He said his VCR wasn't working so as he put it, "you have to watch the Stillers game." ~lmao~ He is a great guy. I am off to watch the preshow.
GO STEELERS!!!
