Ultrasound ~ It's a..........
Well I had my ultrasound earlier...I asked John if he wanted to find out the gender (since he didn't want to with Kailee) but I had my heart set on finding out. He said it didn't matter so I told the tech yes. Well it is a boy! As I had thought it was. Though we both admitted afterwards that even if we didn't want to find out, that would have been hard. We got two VERY good shots of the privates that you could NOT miss. ~laughs~ I knew it was a boy before the tech said it and pointed it out. Kailee was even dancing around when we found out singing, "I knew it was a boy, Yay!" It was funny. So it looks as if we will be welcoming a baby boy this spring.
I had thought that we could surprise our relatives on Christmas. Maybe wrap up the ultrasound pictures in frames. Maybe with a frame that says it's a boy or a blue frame. Or maybe just the picture showing the privates and they would have to guess. We have a great picture of the baby's bottom that shows his legs spread and the obvoius "goods" inbetween. But I am sure they will want to see his face too, not just his bottom. ~lmao~ The only problem is that now that Kailee knows, I doubt we can keep it a secret. I guess we can play it by ear. After all it is nine days til Christmas and I don't think she will be seeing anyone before then. The only problem may be if we get any surprise phone calls between now and then. I am tempted to call and tell them myself. Though I think the surprise on Christmas would be more exciting.
