Easter and More
Our Easter went well. The "Easter Bunny" brought Kailee a bike, helmet, pads and a bell. She was excited about that. Though we did try to go outside yesterday and she threw a fit caused she couldn't get very far. Now she refuses to ride it. It is so tough to be four-years-old. ~laughs~ We went to my mother in-law's for dinner on Easter. Was good to get out of the house. Even if that only meant going next door. Kailee had five days off for Easter Break. Easter being the fourth day of being home and she was driving me nuts. I think she was going stir-crazy. I can relate to that. I was bitchy over the break. She was waking up way too early in the mornings and combine that with lack of sleep due not being able to get to sleep, her nightmares and early wakings. Well let's just say that I was not a pleasent person to be around. I still haven't been sleeping that well at night. At least yesterday I got to take a nap while she was in school.
Last night, John got a new car. He asked my opinion on the decision. Let's just say he has a handful of cars and only uses two or three, rotating vechiles with his step-dad. A truck for the real estate business to haul things, van for family use, a sports car for fun and one broken down. He decided that he will sell the truck to his step-father. The broken down one he will donate to Goodwill since it would cost a good bit to fix and it has a lot of miles on it. The van he will sell (when he finds the title). And the sports car his step-father will use as his main car. That is if you call a Stealth a sports car. ~laughs~ I don't consider it a "real" sports car, but to each his own. I am more into muscle cars! Hence the Camaro name, duh! Alright, back on subject. The new car is a 2000 Chrysler 300M with 55,000 miles. He got a great deal on it so I can't complain. I think the black leather seats will be a pain this summer but other than that good.
I went to get John's birthday presents today. His birthday is April 6th. I didn't get what I was looking for exactly. I always find buying for him is close to impossible. Whenever he wants something he gets it. Not good for the people trying to buy him something. I hope he likes it. I also hope that he doesn't have the games I got him. I can't remember all of the ones he has.
Not much else going on. I think I will volunteer at Kailee's class tomorrow. And in the evening is the parent meeting. So I am sure it will be a long day for me. Maybe a sleeping pill will help me tonight. I don't really like to take them cause they make me groggy the next day. Though lack of sleep is really getting to me. I think last night the problem was dreams. I know they say not to eat a few hours before bed, but I do that often. Last night I had chocolate a few hours before. It must have really messed with me. The result, bad dreams and very little rest.
