In which I continue complaining:
Wednesday morning, I woke up to dynamte blasts at the construction site diagonal to my apt starting at 7 am. Wednesday night, I came home to the street being closed because a retaining wall collapsed at the site and a building with 1000+ residents was being evacuated. They put a stop work order on the site until the issue has been reviewed - praise Jesus. IT'S SO LOUD.
Today I had the day off (summer Fridays!) but there was a rally outside my building regarding the construction site because of the disaster it's been for months now. So I listened to a man on a bullhorn yelling all morning and afternoon.
It never ends!
Now I have to totally contradict myself and say I re-signed my lease on this apartment, despite all of my complaints and the huge increase in rent. I just don't wanna be screwed if I haven't found a place in time. Ugh, I'm screwing myself. I CAN NOT WAIT TO LEAVE.
Someone slammed my middle finger in a door and about 1/3 of the nail is red/purple/blue. What is ultimately going to happen?
Finished Harry Potter! Almost finished with my 1st class at NYU! Going to Chicago next week!
