I'm baaaack! And I have a new layout!
XD, i'm super lazy, so, I'm just copying and pasting everything I told Jack, Sky, and Swan earlier on MSN about my Paris trip and fixing it up a bit. XD
Starting at the top: Last Saturday: The flight was super long and boring and I didn't sleep at all the whole night...
Sunday: When we got there, we went to the hotel and had lunch. The place had nasty cafeteria food. Then we rode the metro to downtown and took a boat tour on the Seine and I used a whole roll of film in a day... we went to Notre Dame, which was my favorite place of, like, everything. 'Twas amazing. Then we went back to the hotel and ate dinner and I fell asleep at 8:30 because at that point I had been awake for 29.5 hours.
Monday: We went to the Louvre and saw tons of art, including the Venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa. Got pictures of both. Then we ate lunch and went all the way up the Champs-Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe and climbed up to the top. Old spiral staircase. Very high. I was scared. Took pictures. Went back to hotel, ate dinner, took tour by bus from 9 to midnight.
Tuesday: We went to Montmartre and went to this super good restaurant where some people tried escargot, but not me. then we went to the Sacre-Coeur, which was kewl, but not as kewl as Notre Dame. Then, we were supposed to go to the Picasso museum, but Monsieur Lennington is very disorganized and took us, like, an hour too late and it was closed, so we just walked around for a while. Then we ate dinner at the hotel and... what did we do that night...? we...oh! that was the night we were going to the Eiffel Tower but we didn't get to because the metro drivers were on strike and the trains were all messed up.
Wednesday: We went to Versailles, or at least most of use did. Four people ended up getting the flu and stayed at the hotel. We spent the whole day there, and then after dinner we went to the Latin Quarter and went shopping.
Thursday: We went tothe Musee d'Orsay with all the impressionist art. Renoir and Monet and Van Gogh. Tres cool. Anyway, that night, we didn't do anything, which I think Mr. Lennington regretted because we used to extra time to create a large disturbance on the eighth floor in which [stuff] happened... XD, you REALLY don't want to know.
Friday: We went to Sainte-Chappelle... much stained glass. Then to the Rodin museum. Then to.. er... errrr..... oh! to the area where there's a bunch of huge department stores! I bought the cutest corduroy jacket thing for only 25 euros!!! Tres chic. XD Then that night, the Eiffel Tower, which is such a tourist trap.
all in all, the trip was incredible, though some of the people that went highly annoyed me. But then, a lot of people annoy me, so that's to be expected. And now for some pictures.
