Intro to me kind of post thingamaroo...
Hello, new peeps! Since I participated in the Friending Meme, I felt it's about time I do a better intro about myself!
Basic facts about myself; I'm a 29 year old Seamstress/Hatmaker/Crafts Artist/Costume Designer for Theater and the like. I wear many different hats when it comes to being a Costumer since I freelance. I'm a big theater geek and I might talk about it a little too much! I also try to make stuff on my off time and I usually end up procrastinating like no other but sometimes stuff gets made (my new niece may not get her quilt until she's about 5).
My music tatse varies because I just love being introduced to new music! I give everything a try although my top 5 bands/Artists at the moment are Arashi, Alphabeat, Florence and the Machine, Capsule and Shiina Ringo. But I have also been listening to a lot of 80's music recently.
T.V. shows I currently adore are Doctor Who, The I.T. Crowd (although I have been missing this new season), The Mighty Boosh re-runs, hoping Netflix has Caprica and catching up on Supernatural. I watch a lot of T.V. I also just started watching JDramas, so there have been many, many marathons of those! I'm trying to play catch up with others, like I just finished Hana Yori Dango. Since I'm new to the fandom, I have been watching a ton of Arashi variety shows and I love it although I need to check out some of their older shows! I like Anime too, but I haven't been as active with it recently.
Movie wise; I adore Christopher Nolan and love all of his movies (except maybe Insomnia...it's okay). I also like Jean-Pierre Jeunet movies (Amelie and A Very Long Engagement), 28 Days Later, Children of Men and Pride and Prejudice are just a taste of what else I like.
I'm a bit of a nerdy nerd and love to fangirl. I love being introduced to new interests, ideas and having conversations! I'm pretty laid-back and chill although I have my spazzy moments. I'm just starting to give my journal the love it needs, so I'll be posting more. I'm definitely a commentator. Definitely ask me anything else, feel free to start up a conversation! I think I did this right...alright, I'm out!
