my anxiety rises
lord, please guide us...

haayy, well we cant turn back, Typhoon Super typhoon Parma (locally known as pepeng) is coming to town. Though im quite blessed because Ketsana didnt do anything to my area (because im far from manila but im still within the capital region) I can now say that im not safe this time. I remember a typhoon that hit the region a couple of years ago (maybe around 2005-2006), and it was scary. My neighbors new house lost it's roof when gusty winds blew it off. The windows of my house started shaking violently, then water started leaking from the windows (but thankfuly there was no flood) but the aftermath was devastating. We cant get deacent food because all the stores were out of stock and we went through 3 days without electricity and i havent bathe in 2 days. Now ketsana like i said didnt affect me in person, but my heart was shattered to see these people suffering. Me and my family decided to visit my uncle who was one of the victims of the storm. He lived in a 1-story house, so oviouslly his house was swallowed whole. Though the inside of his house is clean now, all his belongings are scattered outside his house, none where save because it was all covered in mud. He felt depressed when all his medical books are all destroyed (he was a doctor that works for the forensics thingies, and he onced worked for the UN for humanitarian projects) I roamed through his belongings and suddenly i saw a little wooden board. It was a plaque of appreciation when he did a medical mission in Kosovo. To think even all his trophies were all dirty and destroyed as well.

well i dont know what is the outcome why i am posting this in the first place. But i want to let all those who live in the luzon area, BRACE YOURSELVES AND PRAY HARD!

parma, ketsana, super typhpoon
