How do you improve Jessica's mood?
By giving her clean Scan results, that's how!
The results from my rather unpleasant PET and CT Scans last week were all CLEAN!!! This means that my cancer has been gone for over 15 MONTHS! Yay!!! I also learned that my chemo drug is finally available again. I meet with my oncologist tomorrow to go over the results and to see what he recommends as a continuing treatment regimen, if anything. Although no chemo scares me.
So basically this means that at some time in the very near future, I want to have a huge birthday (mine is January 5)/one year cancer-free party. I have absolutely no freaking clue as to when I'll have time to attend, much less throw, a party though so bear with me.
So, how do you further improve Jessica's mood?
You call her and tell her to turn on VH1, so that she can watch the show So Jewtastic! Thanks Gemma! It was hilarious. I'm sure that VH1 will show it a dozen more times in repeat and I highly recommend it. Because even though it's completely ridiculous, it's also completely hysterically funny. My dad and I were laughing our asses off. To make it even better, when I got home last night from doing laundry at my parents' house, I was greeted by my first issue of Heeb Magazine, which is a magazine for Jewish hipsters, basically. It also is hysterically funny and is my Chanukah present from my sister. Thanks Ellen!
