looooong weekend
Feeling kind of nervous and depressed all day, but I have no idea why. Maybe I'm hormonal? I hate feeling like this. It's very frustrating.
Had a very nice weekend. It started Thursday night. Drank lots. R and J both crashed at my house. I had to work early the next day but we all went for breakfast at Lynn's Paradise Cafe first. Good times. Friday night was Julia's (aka balooley's) birthday. Went for sushi. Had cookie cake. Very enjoyable. Then I went to a show in a very cold building. Drinks afterwards at Cahoots.
Saturday went shopping with Carre and spent a buttload. Got lots of good stuff that I actually needed. Ate dinner with Maia. Might go to NYC with her for her birthday. In December. BRRRRRR.
Then went and saw Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow with Julia. Aesthetically? A gorgeous movie. Loved the look. Jude Law not bad to look at either. Very very campy overall. In a deliciously campy way. And the cast contained Sir Laurence Olivier. Which was odd, since he is no longer living, but pretty cool.
Today, I went in search of a Halloween costume. No luck for me, but Katy found stuff for her and Wes. Then back to Japanese restaurant for my little sister's boyfriend's birthday. Then watched American Dreams and Desperate Housewives at Katy's. Desperate Housewives is awesome. Highly addictive.
So you can see I've had a very busy weekend. Not sure why I'm depressed, cause I usually get depressed when I don't do anything all weekend.
Tomorrow, I'm going to Cincinnati with Minda. So it's not over yet.
I think that catches us up. I'm off to look for costume inspiration on the internet.
