o_O where's the love?

sorry no update for so long. got busy with yom kippur and then chemo and then sunny d's visit and everything. i had a whole long entry written up about all these things, but evil LJ gnomes ate it. so the short version:

-yom kippur: i fasted, even though i wasn't planning to. glad i did.

-good to see sunny d again. wish he lived closer. saw Napoleon Dynamite. Enjoyable but waaaaaay toooooo 80's for me, and a little lacking in the plot. also thanks to d, i experienced my first avacado milkshake. it was an adventure.

-saw dan bern on saturday night. wish he'd played longer. he played for nearly 2 hours with no break, but it felt like barely an hour.

favorite moment: little sis is sitting behind me when dan first comes out on stage. she had never seen him live before. she immediately leaned forward and whispered in my ear, "oh my god, you have to marry him. you all would have such beautiful babies!" hee hee.

bought his new album my country II: music to defeat bush by. very political show. dan was in rare form. hilarious as always. one of the great things about seeing him live is that he mingles with his audience after all of his shows armed with a sharpie to sign cds and such. got a great hug along with the autograph, but no, amy, i don't owe you chocolate this time. his girl friend, oops i mean "tennis partner" (that's what she called it, anyways), was there with him.

-chemo ugh. very very nauseous all week long. even now.

I think that brings us up to speed. Took a quiz for your all's enjoyment:

And they're the perfect people to introduce you to your soulmate
So look and act you're best with them, even if it's a girl's night out
