I SAW ORLANDO BLOOM....
....shopping at my local health food store. In Kentucky. With his girlfriend Kate Bosworth. Squee! I did not approach them because a) I didn't want to bug them and b) I am shy. But I saw Orlando! In person! He was wearing baggy jeans and a black t-shirt and his hair was pulled back into a tiny little pony-tail. so pretty...
Don't think I'd mentioned that Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst and Susan Sarandon are all in town filming the moving Elizabethtown, written and directed by Cameron Crowe (who also wrote Say Anything and Almost Famous) who is also in town. I've been waiting for my star sighting and I finally got it. So happy. Jackie met Susan Sarandon when she went shopping at the shop she works at. (Susan bought a David bowie t-shirt and told Jackie that the two of them used to date when they were filming The Hunger. So jealous am I.) Jackie also saw Orlando today. My friend Carre's little sister waited on Kirsten Dunst at the Grape Leaf for lunch the other day, and my friend Erica spotted Orlando a few weeks ago and actually got his autograph.
They actually just started filming last week so they'll be in town for a while yet.
Other than that my weekend was less than satisfying. Fiasco last night when the doormen at a club discriminated against three of my friends and charged them a cover and no one else before or after them. Very very lame.
Tomorrow morning is chemo. Ugh. The insomnia is already kicking in. If you're awake, gimme a call.
