Everyone say AWKWARD....
Volunteered for the Children Miracle Network 1st annual mini golf tournament that all proceeds went to the Children Hospital.
-It touched home-
- I spent a lot time there when I was little
-And more recent One of my bestest friends; her grandson B was getting HORRIBLE treatment at the local hospital (Here is my shocked face) They weren't running any tests that they should have. Finally after feeling as though they were between a rock and hard place, they pushed about transferring B to the Children hospital, and within a week he was back to his sweet little self.
One thing though about volunteering is I sort of felt useless, but nothing else I am so happy that I was apart of it.
DMC who I work with... he won at least 2 of the prizes. KM was there too with his 3 kiddos D, J, and R
**UPDATE:: DMC won 5 gifts... and KRM won 3- An awesome fan, a drill and um... something else. No Weber BBQ won among the people that I knew... Boo, but Congrats on winning**
After-wards we grabbed a bite, and then played a little mini golf. I played half the game. I wanted to hold sweet little B.
But, man am I exhausted!!! I thought after-wards maybe I would go and catch some Toy Story 3, but it wasn't for another 1 hr and 20 min, and as much as I want to see that movie... I didn't necessary want to sit around.
After I left and was about to head home... I realized CRAP I forgot my house key. It was/is on a separate ring and when I cleaned out and washed my purse I forgot to put it back. I was like GREAT!!! But lets say a HUGE thank you to my neighbor lady with a spare key.... THANK YOU!!
Found out that my older brother got some bad news at the Dr. yesterday. He went a week ago, and they diagnosed him with EXTREME high blood pressure, and they told him that they were going to give him some strong antibiotics to see if they can get his BP down. They told him that he was in extreme likelyhood that he was going to have a stroke or Heart attack. So he went again yesterday, and his B.P. has not gone down at all.. and the DR. again said that he is headed for a stroke or Heart attack very soon. I don;t know what the HELL I would do if I lost my brother and my sister in one year.... in 2 years. Let alone what my mom would do. She is is so scared. It would be her baby and her oldest baby..... scary times!!
