... And so does posting here in general and posting for this category. Consider this a test run with some of my new, somewhat changed plans for writing for this fandom. I think I like the experiment ( Read more... )

Thanks. :) It does feel good to write for this fandom again.

A very good thing.

Nice double meaning with the title there. :)

And oh, wow, haunted inn. Is that a real place or something from a fic?

And yikes, the cry of the Dying Informant--always chilling.

This definitely reads like a script from the show--especially the details like the Informant taking Greg down with him. I can very easily picture that happening.

And ooh, the mention of the Gettysburg ghosts....

And Greg taking it hard and even Mrs. P being subdued, oh wow.

And aww, the Chief even trying to console Greg and reminding him not to let the Informant's sacrifice be for nothing...

And yay, the Voice waking him up!

And LOL/aww tripping down the stairs and into Elliott.

I like how the ending allows it to be up to either interpretation as to whether Informant!Scott and Music-Net!Scott are the same or separate people. Either way, Elliott is there for him, which is squeeful. :)

Really enjoyed seeing this from you! :D

Thanks!

It is a real place! Whether it's actually haunted is debatable, but I believe it. And it sounds like the ghosts aren't entirely benign, either. Creeepy....

I'm glad it comes across as being very show-like! Definitely what I was going for. And the Voice is probably always the best way to bring him back if I want something a little more serious. So much love to The False-False Teeth....

Yeah, I figure that's probably the best way to do it. Even moreso since I'm not sure myself.... Might Takes Wright establishes them as the same person, with Scott's comment "I'm just a singer." (LOL.) But on the other hand, The Filching of the Falls seems to bring out just the opposite idea.

I think my next experiment will establish them as the same, though. :) It will probably just be a blurb.

Thanks again!

Oooh, wow. Yikes. I must research it myself now...

Yes, very show-like! :D And indeed, the Voice is the best choice (lucky it's canonical--awesome ep, indeed)

LOL, I'd forgotten about that line! Yeah, it's true it is confusing now. Maybe I can work on a blurb to explain the discrepancies.

Aw, yay! (I have to admit I like them as the same)

(running again now, btw; see you!)

And now I'm curious too. LOL. I should look up what I read. It's been a long time since I read it.

(Yesss, I love when there's a good canonical way to bring back the dead!)

That would be interesting.

I do too; my only real question as to separating them would be if that would make it easier/more comfortable to write hurt/comfort.

(Okay!)
