it's a go!
we went by and saw the house last night. it was nice and quiet.
i called the landlord this morning, and we are meeting tomorrow afternoon to sign the rental agreement, get the keys and the code for the alarm. i'm actually excited instead of sad. what a turn-around from 2 weeks ago.
today, i need to get moving and get some more packing done. i got the girls' toys all packed yesterday, but there's still a lot to get done in their rooms, and i really want to finish it while they are at my mom's for the weekend.
if we can get in there to clean on tuesday, i can start moving stuff in on wednesday. i want to be mostly done by friday, cuz there's a concert at my church on friday night that i want to go to, and i have plans all day saturday that were planned months ago, and are non-refundable. we have to be out at 12:00am on tuesday/wednesday, so we want to be out by early tuesday afternoon, in order to sweep, clean the trash, and get the kids to bed in the new house at a decent time. we can unpack as we go.
wish us luck in this new journey in our life. i'm finally feeling some relief.
