The Unforgettables
In February, I will once again be participating in the "Unforgettable Crop for a Cause"
This non-profit foundation helps families who lose a child to pay for funeral expenses and outstanding medical bills when possible.
Last year my participation helped to raise over $40,000
Last year, the day after i signed up to do this crop, a lady in my Bible study group lost her 6 month old baby, who had not left the hospital since birth. The bills were astronomical, and a funeral was something they just could not afford. Between the church, and this foundation, the services (and all that goes along with a burial) were covered.
This year, the foundation will be working in conjunction with Scrapbook Royalty. I will be paying a registration fee, but the foundation is asking that all participants collect a minimum of $100 in donations. All donations are tax-deductable, and cash, check, or credit card is accepted. If you are able and willing to help, I would truly appreciate it.
