My house flooded. bah. Every room was destroyed all because the washing machine hose came apart when no one was home. A wash wasn't even cycling! All the carpet has been torn up, the base boards knocked away from the walls, and everything's damp. My piano is out of tune now. My room is mildewy. One of my yearbooks that I kept next to my bed lost all of my memorable messages. It's totally bizarre. My dogs are still pretty spooked. Supposedly, when my dad came home, he found both my dogs on the kitchen table.
anyways... I have an interesting fact about clown fish...
"The strange sex lives of reef fish
Clownfish are also interesting in that they change sex as they mature. Normally, all clownfish start out as males and only change into females when they reach larger sizes. In the wild, a host anemone will typically be occupied by a large female, a smaller male, and one or more genderless juveniles. A pecking order is established in which the female is dominant, the male is subordinate to the female, and the juveniles are subordinate to the male and to larger juveniles. The male and female form a monogamous pair bond that lasts until one member of the pair dies.
If the female dies first, the male rapidly changes into a female, and the largest, most dominant juvenile becomes a male that pairs up with the newly transformed female."
Note that last sentence. ATTN FINDING NEMO FANS, this means that Marlin would have become Marlina and Nemo would have been his boyfriend. Fun stuff.
