So I spent Monday thru Thursday in Washington D.C. with my loving boyfriend Noah. It was seriously an awesome trip. We saw EVERYTHING. The only thing we didnt get to take a pic of was the White House. It's under such tight security. They have snipers on the roof. It's truely awesome to see. The tour really paid off cause we got so much done. I will say it was hotter then fuck tho. 105 one day with extreme humidity. Ugh I hate humid weather. I had to peel my clothes off. The last night in D.C. we ate at this local italian spot called "Luigi's". It was sooooo good and really romantic. During the week I had gotten the call from Doctor Cruz (my OBGYN specialist in New York who did my 1st surgery). She told me she needed me to come in so that I could get special medication from her to start taking asap. Since JetBlue doesnt fly from Dulles to JFK I had to either 1. take a bus from Washington to NY or 2. fly from Dulles to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida then Ft. Lauderdale to New York. Hrm. I'll take the bus. So I did. And it only cost me $20. I got into New York on Thursday afternoon.
I spent Thursday night in Rockland County (it's about 30 mins. north of Manhattan). I went and had pizza with Ian & his girlfriend Maria (Ian is my best guy friend). We went to my FAVORITE pizza place called "Toriellos". Mmm it was so good. Friday I went to the doctors. It went really good. She put me on special birth control that will stop my period for 3 months and then I'll get it for 1 week then again nothing for 3 months. Awesome. I think I should switch to this medication FOREVER. After the doctors I went back into Rockland and I went and got my hair done by the Dominican lady Grace. She did a wonderful job. I ate in Rockland and then I drove to my sisters house in New Jersey. She lives by the Jersey shore. I got a chance to see my 2 nephews (Brandon is 9 yrs old and going into 5th grade and Aiden will be 9 months this month). They are both getting so big. Saturday I hung out with my sister & her family for a while (we went and watched her hubby coach a soccer game for 9 yr olds) and then I drove back into Rockland. I spent the night there again. I got a chance to eat White Castle (which I must say is even better then ever). Another funny thing is that my sister lives right by the White Castle where they taped "Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle". I passed right by it and started laughing. If your wondering where I stayed in Rockland, I stayed with family friends. I did run into my ex on Saturday afternoon. I stopped by a graduation party for Nick's cousin AJ and all my old friends were there. They kept saying I lost so much weight. It felt nice to hear good compliments. Me and the ex actually talked like 2 human beings. He asked how Noah was and why he wasnt with me. I told him Noah had work but if he didnt have work he would have been with me def. He even asked when he would meet Noah. I laughed. We all went out and got ice coffee from Dunkin Donuts (they are way better then Krispy Kreme). It was nice to see everyone again. After that I went home and just crashed. I got up early on Saturday and headed back into Manhattan to drop off my rental car. I met up with my brother & his friends. We had lunch at this great burger spot in the city. He lives on 44th and 9th ave which is literally like blocks from Times Square. If I walk outside his apt. and look down the street I can see the lights from TS. It's really awesome. My brother & his friends went out tonight but I decided to stay in. I got a chance to walk around the city (alone) and then I walked to get Chinese food. Where can you buy a whole meal for $4.75 (lo mein, rice, egg roll and wonton soup). No other then New York City. It's really amazing. And the weather is perfect too. His apt. so rocks. He has a hot flat screen tv with surrond sound, unlimited cable channels, ipod with sound system, and the hottest laptop in the world (iBook G4 which I'm using right now). He has an awesome life here.
I think me and Noah should apply for jobs in New York City. He always said he wanted to live in a big city. This would be absolutely perfect. My sister is going back to recruiting and she could probably help us get awesome, well paying jobs in the city. She makes 6 figures just doing her job alone. Believe me if we both got jobs here I'd move in a heart beat. The city is 24-7. Never sleeps. Always somewhere to go, something to do, someone new to meet. And it's not that bad of a place to raise a family. Street smarts + book smarts. Good combo. Apartments are so expensive tho. I think its about the same as Orange County but you dont get alot of square feet. I could see myself living in my brothers apartment. 2 bedroom 1 bath blocks from Times Square. Wow. Ok enough of the NYC talk.
My flight leaves tomorrow @ 11:15 am. I'm flying into Las Vegas. Cant wait to see mom and dad. I'll be in Cali later this week. My car and clothes are still there. I dont know when I'm officially moving tho. I wanna go back to work to save up some $ before I move. I need $. I got bills to pay.
WTF when did Andy Milanokis get his own television show??? On MTV too???? That kid is from wayyyyy back in the day. I'm talking like 4 yrs ago. You should check out his website tho. It's hilarious. My favorite one is called "Boriqua" in which he makes fun of Spanish music videos. Haha it's really good too. He's like 13 or something. Oh that one and the Peanut Butter one. Oh man good times. I'll post his link later or you could just do a google search on him. It's like Strong Bad. Mad old. I love Strong Bad esp. when he did the one about trance music. Haha. Oh man I need to find those websites again. I think I have them on my favorites on my laptop. I miss my laptop. :Sigh:
Ok time for bed. It's 12:30 and my brother still isnt home. His roomie came home mad drunk. He said they were all drinking and they were all drunk. It'll be awhile before he comes home. But I need my rest. I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. I'll be on the West Coast tomorrow. Yay. Tootles.
I miss my Noah bear. XOXOXO Baby. :Besos:
PS I got my eye glasses before I left Cali and I'm glad I did. They work wonders for me. I can actually see at night now. Even during the day they are wonderful. So happy I got them. And damn I look smarter/hotter in glasses. I look so professional. Too bad I'm nothing but an idiot. Joking.
