Great Weekend!
This weekend was wonderful! We had so much fun and did a ton of stuff. It actually started on Wednesday. Wednesday Gus was over and Mike's parents and we got a great start on the fence - it was hard work, but we got a lot done. Thanks so much Gus.
Thursday after work I met with some co-workers from when I worked at Staywell Health Management. It was great to see them again and we had a wonderful time catching up. One of them is leaving her last day was last Friday so we wanted to get together.
Friday after work, Mike and I got ready and then headed up to Ham Lake to go to a wedding. Our Best Friends Dave and Melissa got married in his parents back yard. Joyce, Bob and all of them did such a wonderful job on making that backyard just goregous for their wedding ceremony. A few weeks ago most of Joyce's plants had gotten destroyed by hail, but you sure couldn't tell. The ceremony was great, great music and it was wonderful to see our friend Dave Madison marry the two of them. I am so excited for them to start their lives together.
Saturday we did some things around the house and then headed up to Dave and Melissa's to gather a group of us so that we could head over to the Town Hall Brewery in Minneapolis for a drink and some food. A Bunch of us headed down there and had a great time. After a few drinks and that we headed back to the Reception Hall and did some last minute decorating and then it was time to party! It was a great night of dancing and hanging out. Congrats to Melissa and Dave
Sunday Mike and I and his parents headed up to Isle MN to see Jager. it was nice to see her, but at the same time it was a long day. We got to see her run in the field and had a lot of fun just watching her work the field. She is very intense. We are heading back up to pick her up on Friday for good. Can't wait for that.
Only 4 more days and she will be home
