I missed posting last week, but I have pictures I am working on. There will actually be a gallery of them, we went to the City Museum; but that is another story.

Yesterday was cast orientation. I didn't pull out my camera. I was busy, and David was there with his. I left early, fighting this bug that was going around. I was hoping to relax with S today, but today he has spent so far fighting with Dell.

The picture above is the new laptop he bought, that he can't get to work right. It's been a hassle since day one. Since before day one. They tried to deliver it, we weren't home; they would not let us come pick it up; they tried again, said online that they delivered it and someone we never heard of signed for it (keep in mind I've lived in the same house off and on for over 37 years), but no note on the door and I was home at the time they said they would come. We called, they said we could pick it up. We called to confirm, then they said they did not have it. Then they "delivered it" again, and left an address where it was. We finally got it 3 days later, because the neighbors were out of town (which was where they did leave it, they just didn't leave a label or address the first time). In the meantime, S had called, and they said they would ship a new one; which arrived last week. But, the first one is now not working; and the second one is sitting waiting to be shipped back. He has spent 4 hours on the phone today, and they said that he can't return it because it is over 21 days since they shipped the first one (although it took us 5 days to get it from the first day they tried to deliver it); they can't get it fixed; and he has currently been transferred to 5 people with 6 different case numbers.

This is not how I wanted to spend my Sunday. Dell - not on today's happy list.

(just ask me about Charter if you really want a rant). The only revenge we have against companies is to not buy their stuff and to tell others about the poor service.
