Scarborough Faire
Today was a lovely spring day. Chill enough for a light jacket throughout the day. It took awhile to get out to the faire, but finally I got myself moving in the right direction. I had free tickets thanks to a family member who worked there the previous year so hey I saved a lot of money straight off! Once inside I picked up a blueberry tart at the bakery then sat down to watch the glass blower demonstration. His show is my favorite thing to watch at the Faire. He made a large white bowl with red, pink, and orange swirls of color on the outside at the first show. Two hours later I was back to watch him make a large black vase with wispy colors of white and red.
When I wasn't watching the glass blower I worked my way around all the shoppes stopping for french fries, stir fry, and a soda. Food is all I bought that day, but the sights were lovely and for once I was fairly comfortable walking around on my own. Awkward conversation with weird faire people was avoided!! Whoop Whoop!
