Today, today was a good day.
Item 1: Jenn has a new job. A full time job. Yes!
Item 2: I have an interview for a new job on Wednesday afternoon.
Item 3: My mother was insanely nice and helpful and has /already/ deposited money into my bank account to help cover bills this month while Jenn starts her new job and I find one that has better hours than my current one.
Item 4: My grandmother is a darling and is just generally adorable. Called her after talking to mum to let her know that everything was fine and she made me giggle hysterically. *<3 family* Daddy, she said she would tell you everything worked out very nicely when she talked to you tonight, so I'm assuming you've already heard all this.
Item 5: Jenn/I has/have a new bike! Okay a new, old bike, but it's a rather nice one that we got for a song and which means Jenn can get to said new job with much less hassle than otherwise.
Item 6: Florida WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! Yes, I know, I normally do not care at all about sports, but you have to understand that some of the first pictures of me are in a "Baby Gator" t-shirt, it's in my blood. Also, the Gators are now the first collegiate team in history to hold both the football and men's basketball national championships simultaneously. Beat that, 'Noles, I dare you.
So yes, gentle reader, today was a good day. And now I am going to go watch Guys and Dolls and play "spot the babies!" for Hiromi and Maggie and Morie and Masaki, and then go to bed so that neither of us are cranky under-rested people at our respective works tomorrow.
*makes several high pitched noises of glee and bounds off*
ETA: I almost forgot. Today was also a good day purely because Eriko exists. Look at that face, I defy you to not fall in love with her. I doubly defy you to not fall in love with her in the black leather Macbeth number she wears in Understudy. *loves*
