Yayyy! Half is good. It really is!

I don't know if anything else will be written this week, but I wrote 56pgs during the break so far, 15 of those for CP3. Kate came over and we took turns writing it and then when it was her turn I was off to the side doodling. We actually worked ourselves out of the rut we were in. Oh gosh... The wheels were turning - it's cool that we can have one movie we're doing and then whenever we have ideas just fit them into future movies, because by the time we get to them they will have all this cool material to work with. I just... the forth is going to be great! It'll really be a catharsis for Cosmo who has always gotten the shit-end of the stick. Obviously I take great pride in CP3, but I think CP4 will be a return to depth of character.

Also, I CAN'T WAIT until CP6: Roger's Return. For a title-explained reason; writing for Roger is a real knee-slapper. He interacts in such an entertaining way with my fictional family. I get excited even now thinking of who and how he will manipulate.

And woohoo! Crystal Palace, the series, is my longest work, if you combine it. Some 330pgs? Okay, it's script, and He's There is catching up, but still.

Anyway, speaking of He's There, I've got some news nobody'll probably like.
Well, I think I've had my run with it. I wanted to make up for my delayed updating, but see delayed updating itself means that there's a problem. I just got too distracted this summer and lost the buzz, even though I think about it plenty often. That'll never change. In fact, I plan to make some posts soon about it, including movie actor/actress comparisons, soundtrack additions, etc, but the writing is going to have to stop. It's not really a huge surprise - I can last maybe 6-8 months of writing something weekly/bi-monthly, and it's been that long plus some. If I can stop worrying about it and do what other things need to be done right now, I can elaborate and solidify my plans for the upcoming plot and come back for NaNoWriMo. Then my goal for November can be to get as close to the ending as possible.

So, that leaves me with two things I cannot complete this break. I refuse to draw Jeffrey when I don't know him well yet! You've got to know them before you go drawing them looking at you head on, standing in a particular way... you know? My mom caught sight of my desktop of Lily and the Giry girls and said to the effect of "I don't know why but that girl in the center reminds me of you, the way she's projecting." <- The reason Jeffrey deserves the wait. :) He's my 5th character and I have a feeling I'll like him. I feel like a mother who would let him go out to Shari's with my daughter and share a sundae. lol ♥

I'm probably not going to be getting to the HHMB poster, since I really need to do Richard thank-you art (after ALL this time) and do the site banner while I still have the juice in me...

I think for now the writing I'm going to worry about is finishing CP3 once and for all! 2 more parts! Maybe fit in Us Against the World. :)

he's there, crystal palace, hiatus, cp4, cp3, cp6, nanowrimo
