Late Night Thoughts

I always seem to think on things ~ heavy things~ that are probably best dealt with earlier in the day, but I guess the nighttime is when the mind slows down long enough to ponder and dwell on the things that sit in the recesses in the active hours. Not anything or vast proportions, like how to achieve world peace or what would I do if I the members of my village were whacked to death with machetes. More like the little niggling questions ~ can a man who cheats ever redeem himself ( like the sad little adage " One a cheater, always a cheater" )or why it is that some people resign their lives to unhappy mediocrity in order to satify a smaller, but more urgent need to be acceptible in the moment. I dunno.
I'm not trying to be "deep" or anything profound like that. Just a thought really.
