Having gone from rereading the entire Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and moved straight on to Side Jobs, I have come to the realization that the two universes would be ridiculously easy to cross over by declaring wizards to be children of Hecate.

It's possible that I may need professional help.

OMG I am hideously addicted to those books. I picked up the first book on a whim when it first came out (something I hardly ever do, having been burned by random purchases too many times before) and fell completely in love. Plus, my birthday is in April so it always feels like a new Dresden Files book is my birthday present from Jim Butcher. ^_^

Yay, I'm not the only one! In my case, my uncle suggested the series to me a couple of years ago, and I went out and bought the first one that night. Been hooked ever since.

You should definitely read the last book! I was really pleased with how it all got wrapped up. And I'm gleefully excited for the next series!

Saw the new harry Potter movie last night. Realized that Mad Eye Moody was played by Brendan Gleeson. And Voldemort is Ralph Fiennes. AND OMFG Wizarding, In Bruges with the Ultimate Showdown going something like: "Riddle, you're a cunt. You're a cunt now and you've always been a cunt. The only thing that's going to change is that you're going to be an even bigger cunt."

And then Moody falls off the top of Hogwarts in time for his messy end to warn young Mr. Potter that the big bad has come. Cue midgets and magic.
